Counsellor
(dip couns)
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
and abide by it's code of ethics and practice.
I trained for my Diploma in Practitioner Counselling at the City Lit. in London.
I have experience of working with people of most ages, including teenagers, and couples.
My background is in Art and Design.
For 15 years I worked as a designer/editor on magazines, and later, for a trade union.
I practice meditation and have a strong connection with Buddhism.
I am 47, a mother, and work in Herne Hill SE24.
I work in a client-centred, humanistic way.
I integrate talking, breathing, visualisation and some body awareness.
Together we may work to connect with your stuck patterns of thinking and unlock the
negative views you may have about yourself in the world.
Perhaps you identify with some of the following:
Bereavement
Lacking Confidence
Feeling Low
Relationship difficulties
Not sleeping
Anxiety
Depression
Feeling isolated
I believe that with help most people can begin to make the changes they need
to live a more integrated and satisfying life.
Exploring problems in a safe and confidential environment can help you identify your
strengths and help you make changes in the areas of your life that hold you back.
I charge £35 for a 50 minute session.
My working hours are quite flexible.
Parking is easy in the street.
Herne Hill BR station is a 7 minute walk away, Brixton tube is nearby.
