                           Counsellor / Psychotherapist

As a BACP Senior Accredited practitioner I have over 15years experience of working as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I have worked successfully with individuals and couples.  I started my professional career working for an education institution with students where I practiced for 10 years.  At present I have a private practice located in Mitcham, Surrey and in Brixton, South West London.

I also work as a counselling supervisor with qualified and trainee counsellors, individually and in groups

Counselling is a talking therapy and works by allowing you to talk to someone who is not connected to your problem.  By working in this way you are then able to gain fresh insight into your problem and this can help to bring about change.

Counselling is indicated if you have an emotional problem which is impacting on your day-to-day activities or one which you cannot stop thinking about.

The type of issues for which counselling can help include:

  •      Depression

  •      Bullying

  •      Harassment

  •      Stress

  •      Cultural issues

  •      Confidence building

  •      Relationship issues
